*ahem* Many moons ago, a young lad with messy jet black hair and piercing emerald green eyes was born. His names was Harry James Potter. James after his father; his mother's name was Lily Evans Potter. Little Harry inherited his scruffy hair from his dad and his unique eyes from his mother.
Our story starts on the night of October 31st, just a year and a few months after Harry was born. The Potter family sat in their living room, enjoying the festivities that go along with Halloween just like most of the families they lived close too. They knew, of course, that they were hidden. Their home in Godric's Hollow could not be seen by anyone that did not know where it was. They went to bed shortly, tucking baby Harry into bed. James and Lily made their way to bed as well, having a 15 month old could be extremely exhausting. A man (is he a man?) called V-erm, let's just call him You-Know-Who, knew where the Potters were that night and he intended to get to them as quickly as possible. This was no ordinary afternoon tea.
James and Lily didn't survive that night. But somehow, baby Harry managed to escape with nothing but his trademark lightning-bolt scar. Harry was left by Albus Dumbledore to stay with his Aunt and Uncle, the Dursleys. You all know the rest.
Harry Potter went through six years of school, starting at age 11, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In his sixth year however, the great Albus Dumbledore was murdered by none other than the seemingly trustworthy Severus Snape.
The Story Continues... In his seventh year, Harry must find the remaining horcruxes belonging to Voldemort in order to rid the Wizarding World of the Dark Lord once and for all. How will you fit into his story?
